1. About this policy
This Privacy Policy covers field.fjdtrion.com, the FJD Trion Field website operated by VIRTUX INNOVATIONS PTE. LTD. (“we”, “us” and “our”). We are responsible for deciding how personal information is used for the website activities described here.
Field helps visitors explore six surveying and 3D capture solutions, review equipment, estimate workflow returns and contact a specialist. It is separate from the FJD Trion Store, Creative Portal, Model Web and other linked services. Accounts, purchases and scan projects handled by those services are governed by their own notices.
2. Information we handle
Website access. Our hosting service records technical requests, which can include IP addresses, request times, requested URLs, response codes, referral information and browser details. These records help operate and protect the site.
Browsing and interactions. Subject to your analytics choices, we measure pages visited, Solution-entry clicks and store referrals. Measurements may include a pseudonymous browser or session identifier, device category, traffic source and approximate country or region.
Enquiries. If you contact us or use an enabled enquiry service, we receive the details you provide, such as your name, business email, company, phone number, region, solution interest and project description. An enquiry exists only when information is actually received; opening a form does not submit it. Please avoid sending unrelated sensitive information or another person’s details without permission.
ROI calculator. Calculations run in your browser. The figures and optional city you enter are used to display your estimate. We do not send these entries as analytics or advertising event parameters.
3. Why we use information
We use access records to deliver pages, investigate errors and protect the website. We use enquiry information to answer your request and discuss suitable hardware, software or workflows. Optional analytics helps us understand which solutions and entry points visitors find useful. Advertising and social-platform tracking helps attribute campaign results, improve delivery and build remarketing audiences based on interest in Field content, subject to the relevant consent choices.
Where a legal basis is required, we rely on consent for optional analytics, advertising and social-platform tracking, and relevant marketing communications; steps you request before a contract or performance of an applicable agreement for enquiries and services; legal obligations where applicable; and legitimate interests for proportionate website operation and security, subject to your rights and the requirements of local law.
Browsing Field does not by itself subscribe you to promotional messages. You can ask us to stop optional marketing contact. Our website analytics is not used to make decisions about employment, credit or other eligibility.
4. Cookies, analytics and advertising
We use GA4 and, where enabled, Yandex Metrica to understand website traffic, traffic sources and use of our content, including interest in Underground utility documentation, AR Stakeout, Topographic survey, Smartphone scanning, LiDAR scanning and Georeferenced LiDAR. Source-page and button information helps distinguish navigation clicks, homepage cards, related solutions and hardware or software store entries.
We also use Google Ads, Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn Insight Tag and TikTok Pixel for advertising attribution, campaign measurement and remarketing, subject to consent where required. These services can receive page and referral information, interaction events, IP addresses, browser or device information and cookie or advertising identifiers. Their operators may link Website activity with information they already hold, including activity or accounts on their platforms.
Optional measurement is subject to your consent choices. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, project descriptions or financial inputs as analytics or advertising-pixel event parameters. Pseudonymous measurement information can still be personal data under applicable law.
Store referral links can contain UTM source, campaign, page and button labels. Those labels do not contain your contact details or project inputs. Read our Cookie Policy for event categories, cookie durations, referral parameters and available controls.
5. Service providers and external sites
Information is available to authorised personnel and providers that support hosting, security, analytics or responding to a request. We limit access according to the task being performed. Google processes analytics and advertising information as described in Google’s Privacy Policy. Where Yandex Metrica is enabled, Yandex can receive technical visit information and browser identifiers for traffic and website-use reporting under the Yandex Privacy Policy. Advertising information can also be received by Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok. Their own processing, including account matching and use across services, is explained in the Meta Privacy Policy, LinkedIn Privacy Policy and TikTok Privacy Policy.
The Underground utility documentation page contains an FJD Trion Model Web viewer hosted at trionexplorer.fjdac.cn. Loading it sends a request to that service, which may receive your IP address, browser details and referral information and may use its own cookies or storage. The platform’s own privacy notices apply to information it collects.
Following a link to the store, Support, the main FJD Trion website or a software platform takes you to another service. Its operator controls information collected there. Field does not receive payment-card details simply because you click a store link.
We may disclose information when a valid legal requirement applies, to address misuse or protect legal rights, or as part of a lawful business transfer with appropriate privacy protections.
6. International processing
The website and its providers may operate in different regions, so information may be processed outside your country. Google, Yandex, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok and the FJD Trion Model Web service describe their processing locations and arrangements in their own privacy information.
Where restrictions on international transfers apply, we use the safeguards required for the relevant transfer, such as contractual protections, another recognised transfer mechanism or consent where legally required. You can contact us for information about arrangements relevant to your data.
7. Retention and security
We retain information for the purpose for which it was received and any applicable legal, security or dispute-handling requirements. Access logs, enquiry records and analytics records have different operational needs; cookie expiry is not the same as analytics-record retention. GA4 record retention depends on the property settings.
We use reasonable organisational and technical measures to control access and protect information. No website or transmission method can guarantee complete security. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it, subject to legal requirements.
8. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may request access to or a copy of your information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or an explanation of our handling. You may also have rights to object to processing, refuse direct marketing, withdraw consent and complain to the relevant privacy authority.
To make a request, contact us using the details below and describe the website interaction or enquiry involved. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and locate the relevant records. We handle requests within the period required by applicable law and explain any applicable restriction.
Withdrawal of consent applies to future processing based on that consent; it does not reverse lawful processing that has already occurred. Browser and cookie controls are explained in the Cookie Policy. Rights and available remedies may differ by country or region.
9. Children and changes
Field is intended for professional surveying, construction and site-documentation audiences. We do not intentionally seek children’s personal information. If you believe a child has provided information without any consent required by local law, contact us so we can assess and address it.
We update this policy when the website or our information practices change. The revision date appears at the top. Where law requires additional notice or consent for a change, we will provide it.
