This Cookie Policy explains how VIRTUX INNOVATIONS PTE. LTD., doing business as FJD Trion (“Company”, “we”, “us” and “our”), uses cookies and similar technologies to recognise you when you visit https://field.fjdtrion.com, the FJD Trion Field website (“Website”). It explains what these technologies are, why we use them and your rights to control their use.

What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Website owners use them to make websites work, improve their performance, remember choices and provide reporting information.
Cookies set for the website you visit are called “first-party cookies”. Cookies set by other parties are called “third-party cookies”. Third-party cookies can support features such as interactive content, analytics or advertising. Depending on the technology and your browser settings, a provider may recognise your browser across more than one website.
Session cookies normally expire when your browsing session ends. Persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them. Similar technologies, such as local storage and session storage, can also store information in your browser.
Why do we use cookies?
We use cookies and similar technologies to support the Website and understand how visitors use our surveying and 3D scanning content. Technologies required to provide a service you request are described as “essential” or “strictly necessary”. Optional analytics helps us improve our pages, navigation and equipment or software recommendations. Advertising and social-platform technologies help us measure campaign performance and show relevant advertisements to people interested in our Solutions.
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and, where enabled, Yandex Metrica to understand visits to the Website, traffic sources and use of our content. Field analytics also helps us understand clicks on our six Solution entries and referrals to the FJD Trion Store. Embedded services, including FJD Trion Model Web, may also use their own cookies or storage when you load or interact with their content.
We use Google Ads, Meta (including Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn and TikTok technologies for advertising measurement, campaign optimisation and remarketing. These services may associate visits to Field with interactions on their own platforms or other websites, subject to your choices. Where consent is required, optional analytics, advertising and social-platform tags are activated only after the relevant consent has been obtained. They are not treated as essential merely because they help us improve the Website or our marketing.
How can I control cookies?
You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject optional cookies. Our Cookie Consent Manager lets you accept all cookies, reject all optional cookies, or customise Functionality, Analytics and Marketing separately. Marketing includes advertising and social-platform integrations. You can open it from the initial cookie notice or the “Cookie Preferences” button in the footer on any Field page to change or withdraw your choices. Necessary storage remains active to remember your privacy settings and support essential website access.
You can also set or amend your browser controls to accept, refuse or delete cookies and clear stored website data. The steps vary between browsers, so please consult your browser’s help menu. Refusing optional analytics, advertising or social-platform tracking does not prevent you from browsing Field’s Solution pages. Blocking cookies or storage required by an embedded service may affect that service’s functionality.
Google provides a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers. Your choices may need to be made again after you clear website data or change browser or device. Deleting cookies does not by itself delete information already collected. You can contact us using the details below for questions about your choices or personal information. Advertising preferences can also be managed through Google My Ad Center and the privacy or advertising settings in your Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok accounts. These platform settings complement your Website cookie choices; opting out of personalised advertising does not necessarily remove all advertising.
What do we measure on FJD Trion Field?
We use website interaction information to understand interest in these six Solution pages:
- Underground utility documentation
- AR Stakeout
- Topographic survey
- Smartphone scanning
- LiDAR scanning
- Georeferenced LiDAR
This includes clicks on homepage Solution cards and Solution entries in the navigation or recommendations on another Solution page. We distinguish these entry positions when comparing engagement.
We also measure clicks to the FJD Trion Store, distinguishing hardware, software and general-store entries. These clicks indicate referral interest; they are not treated as purchases or successful enquiry submissions.
Analytics information may include the source page, Solution name, button label, entry position, product, destination, event time, device and browser information, referral source, approximate country or region, and pseudonymous browser or session identifiers. These identifiers can be personal information even though they do not directly identify you by name.
We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, free-text project descriptions or financial inputs as analytics event parameters.
How do we measure referrals to the FJD Trion Store?
Links to store.fjdtrion.com may include source parameters that identify Field, the source page, entry position and button. For example, utm_source=field_website, utm_medium=referral and utm_campaign=field_to_store identify a Field referral; utm_content describes the entry used.
These parameters are part of the link rather than cookies, and do not contain contact details or project information. Where shared analytics measurement is configured, a cross-domain linker parameter may also pass measurement identifiers between websites, subject to applicable consent choices.
We distinguish hardware entries such as V4e Go, V4e Pro, V4e Scan and V4e Combo, software entries such as Trion Survey and Model Web, and general store links. A V10a link to its introduction on the main FJD Trion website is not a store referral. Internal Field links do not use store-referral parameters.
The store’s own notices apply after you leave Field. A click recorded on Field is different from a store visit, cart action, checkout or purchase, and is not treated as proof of any of those actions.
What about embedded content and other websites?
The Underground utility documentation page includes an interactive project hosted by FJD Trion Model Web at trionexplorer.fjdac.cn. Loading the viewer sends a request to that service, which may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser information and the referring page. Its cookies and storage are governed by the service’s own notices and your browser settings. Opening the full viewer also takes you to that service.
The main FJD Trion website, Creative platform, Support, online store and other linked services manage their own cookies. This Field policy does not replace their notices. Google’s and Yandex’s handling of analytics information, including international processing, is explained in the Google Privacy Policy and Yandex Privacy Policy.
Google Tag Manager
We may use Google Tag Manager to manage and deploy website tags, including GA4, Yandex Metrica, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag and TikTok Pixel. The information collected and cookies used depend on which tags are enabled. Using Tag Manager does not make optional analytics essential. Tags that require consent are activated only after the relevant consent has been obtained.
The tags support Website visits, Solution-entry clicks, store referrals, advertising attribution and remarketing. Tag Manager does not itself determine which cookie categories you accept; the tags must follow the applicable consent choices.
What about other tracking technologies, like web beacons?
Cookies are not the only way to measure website use. Browser-based tags and similar technologies can record page visits and interactions, such as opening a page or clicking a product link. Local storage and session storage can support requested website features or interactive content.
We use pixels and browser-based tags from Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok to relate Field visits and interactions to campaigns and to support relevant advertising on other websites or platforms. These services may collect page and referral information, event details, IP addresses, browser or device information and cookie or advertising identifiers. They may combine this information with activity on their platforms in accordance with their own notices. We do not send enquiry form contents or financial inputs as pixel event parameters. Where consent is required, refusing or withdrawing the relevant optional consent limits the related tracking. This policy does not describe an email-opening tracking programme.
Do you serve targeted advertising?
Yes. Subject to consent where required and your applicable choices, we use Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok technologies to measure campaigns and help display relevant advertising about Field’s surveying equipment, software and workflows on other websites or platforms. This can include remarketing to people who previously visited a Solution page or followed a product link. These technologies may also help limit repeated advertisements and improve campaign delivery.
Advertising providers may combine Website activity with information they hold, such as platform interactions and identifiers. This can allow recognition or account association without Field receiving your account name. You can refuse optional advertising tracking without losing access to Field’s Solution pages. Changing your preferences stops future consent-based activity but does not automatically erase records already collected; see our Privacy Policy for information about privacy requests.
How often will you update this Cookie Policy?
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the technologies we use or for operational, legal or regulatory reasons. Please revisit this page to stay informed. The date at the top indicates when it was last updated. Where a change requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it.
